Rail travel
 A young man went for an interview for a signalman's job on the railways.
The inspector asked: "What would you do if you realized that two trains were
heading towards each other on the same track?"
"I'd switch the points for one of the trains," answered the young man confidently. "But what would you do if the lever was broken?" said the inspector. "I'd rush down from the signal box and use the manual lever." "What if the manual lever had been struck by lightning?" "I'd phone the next signal box."
"What if the phone was engaged?"
"I'd use the emergency phone at the level crossing."
"What if the emergency phone was vandalized?"
"In that case, I'd run to the village and fetch my uncle Joshua." "Why would you do that?" asked the inspector. "Because he's never seen a train crash."
