Comedian pokes fun at racism during talk
Black comedian Larry Wilmore had a packed Missouri Theatre audience in stitches Wednesday night with jokes and comments that sometimes pushed racial lines. The keynote address was part of the University of Missouri’s belated tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday this month.

SEATONVILLE — A proposal by some residents to change the name of Negro Creek has resulted in a backlash from other residents. Chad Errio created a Facebook page for the group, "Leave Negro Creek Alone," on Wednesday, and by Monday morning, he had 277 members.
